This happened to me . I had $253 on a verified paypal account, and one day , they "closed" my account , and I had no access to the account or money . The service is garbage , but at least it's simple to use .

 

Probably because you were doing something suspicious...?

Why do you have multiple paypals otherwise?

Edit: Especially since each account is under a different name.

 

Yea I am sick of PayPal, I will probably keep using. But I swear they are out to scam SOME people. They said my accounts had filed a claim against each other. I am looking to find lots of people so I can show this to PayPal so they can Improve there Service

Your fault, you have multiple paypals

 

I only had that one paypal account , I used it to pay my old websites server bill , as well as collect donations for the server bill . I never had more then one, except for now , as I had to make a new one .

 

The reason I had multiple PayPals is because I didn't want to get them limited, I knew PayPal was going to limit them because they limit most unverified accounts with money in them. All of my PayPals were on Different IP Addresses using my Payed version of HideMyIP. They couldn't track anything.

Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but you have multiple PayPal accounts sending money to each other on the IP address. I would think something is suspicious myself. You also have a different name on each, which doesn't help much either.

 

I had 3 accounts. 2 of them where Jimmy Brockie the other was Andrew Brockie. Whenever I sent money It was as Payment Owed and I attached notes saying it was for birthday presents. PayPal still shouldn't be able to TAKE money. You send the money from the IP address that PayPal was made on. There was nothing suspicious, It was all legit with all details entered except Credit Cards.

You still haven't explained why you have three accounts under different names.

 

Unverified Paypal = Limited very soon
Proxy IP's (even if you have a paid, dedicated IP) = Limited

They do this because they need more information about you. For all they know you could be about to commit some major fraud.

 

Haha OK Skele, But still I had another Paypal which was Linked with a Credit Card, This was when I only had 1 PayPal. That account got Limited and the options to Unlimit it were: NONE

I swear PayPal TRIES to scam sometimes, I cannot promise this but yea. Any problems with PayPal anyone?

 

Because I knew that unverified accounts get limited normally after a week or so. So whenever I felt It was going to be limited, I made a new one. Please Don't be so negative against me, This isn't just about me, I am just wondering what other problems people have with PayPal.

They probably matched you with all your other accounts and figured you were too high risk of a user and closed your account. Your money is safe and will be available for withdrawal in 180 days.

 

This should happen, I have two accounts of PayPal and link one credit card to one and send it to my other one, not like this ever happened too me.

 

Is that true? Are you able to withdraw your money within 180 days? does it have to be to a bank account? Or can your send it to another PayPal?

 

Anyone have any PayPal problems?

 

PayPal "temporary limited" my account because I sent $197 to a person who had his IP address marked from PayPal. I have 3 credit cards linked to the account and I can't even close my account because it's limited. Plus my account is verified and I don't know how long this temporary limitation is but it's really pissing me off.
