    I've got a paypal payment of $750 but it's been held.. what's that mean and why?

    The payment is perhaps 'dodgy' (as in it is not the persons PayPal), they have made a claim or.... PayPal just wanted to look into it!

    paypal thought it was a potential high risk or something risky is going on . or whoever sent you the money claimed it back
