overtime

Should I put in 30 hours overtime this week, or go clean up the lake? I have been offered to do both, but honestly, I do not know which one to choose. Please help me, and give valid, not retarded, reasons.

Background information... I work as a welding contractor and make $18 an hour, I am 19 years old, have 2 year old daughter, and a fiance. I love spending time with my family but work and weight training really effects that.

 

I say overtime. You will make A LOT more money and you never know when you will need it. You could lose your job next week and need a few extra bucks to pay for rent/food while you look for a new job. (just an example)

 

Overtime it is, thanks. Just another tid-bit, I fully own my house, truck, car, and everything else lol. Finally got it paid off last November.

 

Do you get extra pay for hours overtime?

 

take the time n a half.

 

Unless you're hurting for money, go clean up the lake with your family.

Work and weight training already occupy the majority of your time. Don't let them completely engross it.
