Ordering windows

Has anyone here ordered a windows key off of reddit? I was watching a youtube video and a dude said someone about ordering a windows key off of reddit and i went and checked it out. They are selling windows 8.1 keys for like 15 dollars and windows 10 keys for like 25 dollars. Im kinda sketched out but it seems legit. Im going to buy a pc soon and i was thinking about just buying the key off of there. They also guaranteed the keys are "genuine"

 

There are 3 ways to get windows:

1) Get it legit from microsoft (money goes to microsoft)

2) Buy a key from a re-seller, yes they work. (Money goes to a re-seller)

3) Pirate it (no money spent)

Personally I think 1/3 are the best ways, but if you want to do #2 feel free. No matter what method you use what you get is exactly the same.

 

Pretty sure if you buy a new pc that windows is pre-installed and included in sale price?

 

Right now, I definitely recommend pirating windows and legitimately upgrading to Windows 10 while they have their promo. Good luck!

yeah i was thinking about pirating it but i kinda want a legit copy incase something goes wrong and if i buy it from a reseller ill have windows on a usb stick.

 

There is literally no difference between buying a key from a re-seller and pirating it.

You put windows on a usb or disk either way. If you buy from a re-seller you enter in the key during the install. If you pirate you just don't provide a key and crack it with a simple program once you finish the install.

 

Oh, didnt know it worked like that. Thanks for the info ill definitely look into pirating windows. It cant be that hard tbh.

 

For genuine product key purchase it from Microsoft website or Amazon type website which sell only genuine products and never purchase it from ebay/reddit type website.

 

I agree with darkest dream. Don't buy it off the redditor, most likely he's going to scam you as there is no scam prevention system on reddit as far as I know.
