Little bitchy boy band or talented kids?

 

A group of British teenagers who seemingly overnight stole the hearts of millions of girls around the globe.

It's a group of singers who did not manage to make it through to the Xfactor 2010 live finals individually, so they were told to form a group together. I think they have actually done well, since they only met during the Xfactor auditions in 2010.

I'm not really into the type of music they sing, but I think they have a decent amount of talent. I know girls who are just into the group, because of their looks, just like how lots of girls like Justin Bieber. But I think their music is better than Justin Bieber's by a bit.

 

I didn't know that they were all almost twenty-years-old.

 

Their newest album is good. However I think they will fade quickly unless they are smart.

 

The new justin biebers, my little cousin talks about one direction and thats it, and screamed when they made an appearance on some show called icarly that she wanted me to watch with her.

Bitchy, auto-tuned, obnoxious..
but I love their songs. Catchy as hell.

 

Never heard of these guys until a few days ago... ever since I heard the name "One Direction", I've been seeing them all over the place. In magazines, on MTV commercials, even the news. Still haven't heard any of their music though.

They seem to be extremely popular at the moment though. I don't think I've seen a boy band with such an effect on young girls since The Backstreet Boys or N-SYNC.

 

No kidding. Same thing happened to me, some girls were talking about them now I hear about them everywhere. I don't think I've heard one of their songs either lol.

 

Their songs are undoubtedly catchy but they're a group of average singers with the exception of one or two who were thrown together by Simon Cowell knowing that their looks would generate money from their albums.

their songs are good but it's pretty obvious its been autotuned

 

I've heard them mentioned a few times, had no idea how popular they are.

 

It's just another one or two year wonder boy band. They've got the style and the girls and a catchy tune, but it won't be long until some other guy(s) take them off the top and 1D are forgotten.

 

Seems like another teenage girl craze. If they look good and can sing, they will be loved by millions of teenaged girls. Examples: The Jonas Brothers, Justin Beiber

 

Sums it up pretty well.

Hate that sort of music, but nothing really against them or their fans. It's their choice really.

 

i dont like them but my sister has a crush on them so is putting pictures of them all over her walls and going to see a concert june 8th
