Older players.

well i have been playing since the beginning and i was wondering if there were any forums or anyone here that is older ( 20+ ) and like me have a wife and kid , i am 21 myself and have a hard time having "Friends" on rs when there is no way to relate to people that are still in school, its just a whole nother spectrum. Any suggestions

 

Im 22 my self and I agree with you on some points, most of the people I run into I get bored of quickly, my friends list is made up of long time friends and friends in real life and we communicate on a regular basis. I try not to keep people on my list that I dont know.

 

I've seen some clans in RS that are specifically for "older" people, who aren't the typical, school-aged RS player. You should look into one of those

 

As pockets said there are a lot of clans that are 18+. Check the official runescape forums, should have better luck.

 

Don't play a game designed for 13+ year olds. Who needs Runescape friends anyway.

 

The only thing I really have with people on RuneScape is a love for RuneScape.

 

18 years old here. Sucks though. Knowing your older and playing with a 13 year old

 

I have actually found a lot of clans that have a lot of people over 18+ in them, Like the post above trying using the forums.

 

I play because its a great past time, Its kind of a comfort thing , i like to come home , put the daughter to bed ...light one up and play some rs. I dont see in anyway it being for just 13 year olds... and i welcome pm's and links as well, thanks for your speedy input guys.

 

I'm 19 years old myself, and I have the tendency to agree with this statement mate, it does get quite frustrating at times.

 

I have this problem too.. My friends list is full of players i knew in 2004-2007 .. Relating to 90% of the runescape population is pretty difficult and aggravating !

I had the very same problem. Its hard finding older players because like me; we've given up trying to make friends. So we keep to ourselves making finding another much harder

 

as most of the other posters said look for an 18+ clan but there are other options as there are clans out there that dont mind about your age as long as your mature. i am currently in one of these we have a few 15 yr olds (me being one) but a lot of the clan is older than 18 with the leader being 30 and married with a kid and the 2 pmods being married it has worked out suprisingly well, we dont get the 9 yr olds complaining about getting lured or making fart jokes non stop. its up to you what kind of clan you look for but thats about the only option you have as far as finding people that you dont get bored with.

 

First who the game is 13+. Not 13-18, etc. You don't know how many adults play this game and shouldn't be assuming that the majority isn't adults... Someone who wants another person to talk to while playing a video game is a normal thing to do so stfu with your shitty opinion

Im currently 16, fairly mature. Most of my rs friends are 20+, i talk to them ia skype regularly. Age doesnt matter. Its all about finding the right friends

 

I stopped playing since all my friends did but considering we started when we were 11-12 I can understand as we are all now 19-20 but I guess its like most things it has cycles . We just play COD now since its more sociable.

 

I suggest the 1900+ total clan Long Road, I was in there for abit, all of them are near 18+. If they aren't, they just get shunned and kicked eventually.
