It should just be the rewards, yeah. Withing a week or two, they should roll out the Season 4 changes and start Preseason 4, which will last for a few months before Season 4 hits.

No, Season 3 rank carries over exactly to Preseason 4. Then there will be a soft rank reset between Preseason 4 and Season 4, and placement matches will be required to be matched with a tier in Season 4.

 

I got dropped to Silver I from Gold V on like the last 2 days of Season 3 because I forgot to play a ranked game to stay in Gold V, I'm going to cry now.
