Obby Vs VLS?

Which one, in your opinion is the better pure?

VLS is better imo

 

The VLS will always win, 20 Attack will make your hits more accurate, it will give you access to better training weapons, you can then use both statius's hammer and the VLS.

Im currently working on a obby and if i can afford enough cash ill turn it into a VLS pure. How much is a Vls Nowadays?

I'm just skeptical b/c its not the cost of the VLS or hammer, but the degrading. How often will it degrade & whats next for it? buy a whole new one or what? (never used degradable weps)

Also, If I were to be a VLS pure what are some combos to keep in mind? - Your favorite switch/what you'd like to see?

VLS definitely.. Maul is overrated.

 

Personally, I'd choose VLS since it has a more frequency of high hits, however, it also has it's down side of it degrading and losing a lot of money if you haven't made enough to cover up for it's loss by pking or w/e.

 

Yeah great point bro, so what happens when it degrades? do you just have to buy a new one every time or what & how long does it last until it does degrade?

 

VLS obviously, corrupt weapons usually hits higher often then someone with an obby maul + bereserker necklace. Most of the pures I create are first corrupt pures then I move on, however as being a VLS pure, you must know that you can't use the weapon for a long period of time cause unfortunately sooner or later, it degrades. When it degrades, you can only use it wear it and use it for like 20 minutes until the weapon disappears but if you're rich then you should have no problems at all.

You really have to watch your level. Im gonna say medium to low HP. Medium str. If you get up to where D claws start hitting its going to be a son of a bitch to get rushed. Dbow etc. All pain in the asses. I havent PK'd in a long time. Getting my pure ready for it at the moment. Pretty stoked about it. From what I hear though VLS pures really only need the money to get their 1st weapon. The rest can easily come off of 1 weapons worth to buy a few more VLS's if your smart with EP.

 

What's the best outfit for a VLS pure?

 

Ill do some research on them and get back to you on that? Im working on an account with 1500 zeals, lvl 3 still. Debating on a VLS pure. I was scanning through the topic myself looking for a building guide for them.

I recommend staying at 13, I'm going to stay at 1 myself.

 

In my opinion you should stay as low as possible till your pure is finished. Do some test PK trips, dont over equip yourself. Then if you feel like you need the protect net that prayer provides then go all for it. There is a few prayer milestones that pures use depending on their PK style.
