Obby Tanks ?

lately ive been training my old school def pure and made him into an obby tank
but ive been starting to realize that there is no talk of obby tanks, rarely any
youtube videos and nobody buys them.

are obby tanks dead ?
and if they are what should i do with this account

54 defence
1 pray
1 range
1 mage

i already blew membership on it, and i got about 200 zeals.
suggestions/tips ?

 

There's really no point to an obby tank. It's more of a "for show" account. It sucks at PKing and Staking too, so it's not like there's much of a practical use for it. You could make it a ranged tank/staker since your prayer and summoning are still one.

 

Range or Mage tank,
All day.

 

I am loving my mage tank, you might want to make it one of those.

 

but what would be the point of an mage tank ?

and i dont really understand how mage tanks own in pking

Stakings most certainly not dead,
If anything, the free trade and wildy update in Feb brought it back.

So if make him into a mage tank i was thinking id go these stats long term

as for hp should i soul wars it ?
feel free to change these into what they should be
and give me any pointers you might have.
ive never really created an staker before

 

I highly recommend doing "Dragon Slayer"

It gives 18K Strength/18K Defence
with 0 Attack Exp.

Which is a helpful boost when you're low level Strength and cannot use good weapons to train because of lacking Attack skill.

thanks for the advice but i dont think its worth it ^
im not going to be using an rune plate and i can easily get
18kxp in both of those skills in a couple hours
While it would take alot longer for me to do all those quests for dragon slayer
