Obviously she will with all that food.

 

What's the point of having aspirations like that? I wanna become so fat i can't do anything so my kids and other people have to care for me because i can't do it myself. Kinda selfish IMO.

 

It could mean nothing to you but it could mean alot to her.

 

You're right, but anything in life can kill you. So why not obtain a goal before you die?

What do you mean by that?

 

The things that can kill you are sometimes unavoidable. The ones that are, such as this case, are perfectly avoidable.
It's not my position to judge one's actions, but I just think it's a waste of a life to make a goal to become obese.

Let me justify.
I once knew a man that had a terrible work accident. He wasn't able to walk for 3-4 months. He suffered deep depression and soon became addicted to food. As soon as those three months passed, he still wasn't able to walk; not because of his injury, but his severe obesity. Thankfully he has brought down his weight substantially (and to a reasonable level), but he still wishes he didn't succumb to his weakness because he still has trouble walking, breathing, etc.

^This is why I feel so strongly about this story.

 

If you think it's a waste of time, tell me what are your personal goals?

 

Start weight training to get a nice summer body. Continue my Boxing training. Etc. Become a Robotics Engineer and build technology that will make life easier for those in need (such as hospital patients, elderly), and for general public use. Work for NASA or start my own company.
You know, productive goals.

 

Productive, yet we are all still going to die. I'm not saying it's useless to do it but you will eventually be enjoying doing those things right? If she enjoys eating, then why not let her? It doesn't hurt you.

 

If she enjoys eating, fine. Overdoing it? Not fine.
I honestly don't care about her; it's her choice to become obese.
I'm worried about her family. Imagine the burden she'll bring upon her family: medical bills, groceries, etc.
Furthermore, I didn't read anything about her weight "goal" as being a personal one. I only read about her getting recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Like I stated before, It's not my position to judge, I just feel it's a waste of a life to focus on such a destructive goal.

EDIT: I meant to say grocery costs, not food bills.

 

Honestly I think people become alot stronger through someone elses so called "destructive" decisions.

 

That may be, but at what cost could this strength be at? I would hate to see young kids losing their mother to obesity.
Once again, I only care about her family, not her.

 

I think the kids have it set in stone in their minds that their mother is going to pass away.
