Just wondering, cause I wonder about this sometimes, what would your feelings/thoughts be if one day, Jagex just stopped and deleted Runescape. Like one day, you wake up and the Runescape just didn't exist. Would you guys be mad?

Personally, I'd be mad just because of the money I've spent ha, but I think its crazy that no matter how much you spend on your character or how much time you put in, and your account and the game in whole can just be gone and you would have no control about it and it would be lost forever..





I know everyone is gonna flame this saying "THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN IDIOT" but it is just a what if, and try to avoid saying "maybe some of you nerds will step outside". Before anyone says this is pointless, I thought it would be an interesting topic....

To be completely honest, I feel like what they did yesterday was almost as bad as RuneScape not existing. Well, in my eyes, RuneScape doesn't exist anymore.

 

I wouldn't honestly care, I used to be so obsessed with playing that game, now its like eh who cares. I can't really stand playing it for more than 10 minutes anymore.

 

I would care as im making money of it, but at the same time - life goes on.

 

I love how everyone says they wouldn't care. Well honsetly if you don't care about RS then why the fuck are you on an RS trading/cheating website...

I personally would be upset and play private servers.

 

I could care less if Runescape just got deleted tomorrow.

I quit Runescape. And to the smart guy who asked why are we on a Runescape cheating site if we do not care?

I am on this site, as I have said many times before, because I like the conversation/knowledge most people have to offer.

 

If, let say runescape was going to shut down tomorrow then i would be pretty pissed off haha.

Reason is because i still got accounts that i spend a lot of hard work on and money on. And if i was going to lose all of that because runescape was being shut downed. Then i would be hella mad. But that pretty much it. Probolly moved on to a different game.

I know a couple of friends who used to play a pretty popular game. Not as big as runescape or anything. But it was still pretty popular. And the game got shut down because there was hackers ruining the game. And i mean serious hacks as in dupeing, god mode etc. And it just completley ruined the game. All there hard work was wasted.

 

I enjoy the company and disputes that this site has to offer.. but as for Runescape, I bot. I have little knowledge of the actual game. I know that I turn the bot on, and it does what it does. I bot for the sadistic pleasure of saying my account is better than others who have spent years playing.

The downside of Runescape getting deleted would be that this site would slowly become empty, eventually leading to its end.
In saying that, there would have to be warning and a period of time where membership could no longer be purchased for the game in order to prevent people from opening law suits against them for taking their money and not getting the membership they paid for..
A hell of a lot of people would lose their jobs; the programmers that create the bots for the game, gold sites, even R2Pleasent, etc.
I'd have to imagine that the minority of people involved in Runescape in some way, would be pissed to no end.

 

Have you ever considered applying this question to real life? Makes you realize you take more than a few things for granted.
