Didn't know there were other people who watched these on here Originals is by far better for all the reasons you listed. But if you do recall, the first few seasons of TVD were pretty good too Let's hope CW doesn't fuck up Originals like they did with TVD. Anyways, Originals Season 3 is going really well and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
Never bothered with TVD but one of my friends suggested I watch The Originals and I enjoyed it. Especially Elijah because he's a boss
The Originals is better IMO and I watch both. TVD is still great though. What I like about Originals is that Elijah, Klaus and the rest of the Original family are OP AF, they're OG's, stronger than all other vampires and are Immortal (that is when the white oak stake isn't in play).
I'm actually re-watching TVD right now. Quite a coincidence it's brought up now. I didn't enjoy The Originals as much knowing their future from TVD. I think I actually like TVD better, but I didn't keep up on The Originals so it may have gotten better. TVD started getting boring in the last seasons though. Edit: I actually liked True Blood better than both TVD and The Originals. Some actually old vampires and cool shit going on all along the way.
I watch both, Originals is better, I guess. Not really into either that much anymore, more so keep watching just to keep up-to-date.
Haven't watched True Blood (may have to look into it) The early seasons of TVD were great but now they are kinda dragging the story out. Originals storyline at the beginning was nonetheless kinda bad but it took a epic turn and it's great now. I know what you mean, theres some shows nowadays that I don't like them as much as I did in the beginning (Arrow) but I just watch to keep up with the story.
I think that originals is still going strong. I totally agree with you about TVD though. I just watch it to keep up-to-date
