Sythe isn't the type of forum where this award would benefit.

 

No support. Why only them? Why not all the different ranks? I see no reason for this.

Newcomers don't stay newcomers for long.

And those who do, are only here to scam/sell something, and then leave.

0 - 24 = Newcomer
25 - 99 = Member
100 - 249 = Active Member
250 - 624 = Forum Addict
625 - 999 = Apprentice
1000 - 1999 = Guru
2000+ = Grand Master


In order to stay a Newcomer, and become the Newcomer of the month, you'd have to post less than once a day.
Which won't give us an idea on who to vote for if we can only see one post a day.

If by newcomer, you mean someone who joined in the past 1-3 months, I agree.

(P.S. - You know you'd probably win February's vote ).

 

I'm new to sythe and I'm highly active, but I do not think this is a strong idea. There is nothing wrong particularly with this proposal, but as the current MOTM thread is not getting much activity, I don't see much point to this.

 

That's why you pick someone who is not a scammer, duh.
I think it's a good idea.
