[NEW] | Theme Design | thoughts?

I'd like to know people's thoughts on my latest Wordpress Theme design. Thanks!

 

I personally love it.
I think it looks great, what did you do it in? I'd assume Photoshop CS4/5?

 

I love the design, but what will become of the right most panel? Looks pretty dumb being left without content.

 

Yeah Photoshop CS5 for most of it, but the logo and a few other elements were made up in Illustrator CS5.

The panel on the right is the sidebar - where a secondary navigation or recent posts section will be. Anything can go there, really.

The noise in the background is a little too strong, and the shade of blue you chose is a little too bright, the contrast makes it hard on the eyes, but it's a very attractive design. Good job, keep it up!

 

That's a brilliant design that you have there, man.

 

Color palette's pretty basic (but effective, credit to you there), fonts need to stay more or less consistent, since at the moment the Logo/Banner, the navigation and the body fonts are all different it seems.

Not liking the gradient in the logo, it's too obvious and not very creative.

Overall it's pretty clean, I'm sure you have it in you to make far more detailed themes though
