New Donation Method!!!!

Well title says it all. I want to donate but dont really wanna send the money in the mail. Why dont you start using Pay-Pal. If your worried that people are gonna withdraw there donations, Make it classify as a gift*which cant be refunded at all*. You dont even have to use your real credit card/bank card. Go get a money pack card and use that for your Pay-Pal.

This has been suggested at least 1000 times. You're not legit about donating unless you choose mail or WU. It's completely obvious that anyone having access to a legit paypal usually has a bank they can go to a withdraw money.

 

Id wheter donate 25$ via pay pal then 10$ via mail. Just seems safer and its easier to verify that you got the payment.

 

All PayPal payments can be reversed, including gifts.

There's nothing you can do.

And no, IF a payment is classified as a "gift" it cant be refunded. It says so on the Traders policy. You can get a money Pack gift card and use that as your account for paypal. You can go to any ATM to withdraw from it thats part of well fargo *bank of america, wachovia, Pnc and about 75% of the banks in the usa* for no charge and the others for a 3$ fee. Hell you can even go to wal-mart and take money out of it.

It's just that paypal is faster. Who wants to wait for the mail to arrive to mathew etc. I support paypal also but they won't implement.

 

You're wrong, it can clearly be taken back. It's just harder to do so

 

.....shame my reply posted after yours.....well it says it cant be reveresed if the reciever clearly states that this is a gift and a gift only. check it out on youtube, someone sent a gift of like 100$ via pay-pal and someone tried to reverse and they went to court. No Clearly Stated gift can be reversed because its a gift. Now if you say im trading you this for that and your payment will be considered a gift, That wont fly. Gifts arent traded for something, Gift are given and you arent expected to recieve something in return unless the reciever chooses to.

 

Well u are promising a service in exchange for the money, pay pal doesnt see that as a gift, but a obligation. We pay sythe 5$ for as a gift and we arent expecting nothing in return. therefore we cant get it back.

 

Trust me, they can be reversed.

I've got a total of 5-6 gift payments reversed so far. What PayPal means by you can't get chargedback is that no item was traded, therefor you wont be able to file an item dispute. Calling back the money through your CC or filing an unauthorized claim via PayPal still works.

 

thats why sythe only should accept donations from VERIFIED pay pal accounts. Also sythe should keep a record via pm, say ok ill accept your 25$ donation to me *sythe* as a gift that cannot be reversed/disputed for any reason.

Hence if they dispute this claim with pay pal, youll have proff that they knew what they were doing with a documented contract. they wont be able to get there money back. Trust me im a power seller on Ebay Also, I know what im talking about.

Using paypals donation system correctly keeps you from getting charged back. Its not that hard to set up the donation system once you know how to do it. I've received over $700, and done 84 transactions and haven't been charged back on once.

Iv gotten countless via paypal, i havent got charged back either.....people tried and failed.
