Netspend

I just received a NetSpend card in the mail, with my name on it. I didn't register, nor request, one so why did it come? Is this legit, or do they want my information for social security scams? I already had my identity stolen once, and definitely do not want it to happen again.

 

Generally NetSpend cards don't require your social security number, just the card number for activation. However, if there is no statement with a balanc on it i would throw it away.
