Some dudes from school want to recruit a friend me from WoW.
I already have an account but havnt played in a while.

It's gonna be some friday night WoW sesh or some sh*t, anyway.

If they recruit a friend me, do i have to buy codes for TBC, WotLK and cata again?

Is there somthing called ressurect a friend, where its the same thing, just if they havnt played WoW for a while?
Also;
What would be the total cost of all those codes + 1 months subscription

 

I believe recruit a friend works by creating an account for a friend who has never played. Which is pointless since you say you already have an account. Yes you will have to buy TBC, wrath and cata again for that new account. You're right about resurrect a friend.

All expansions would cost about $90

On the battle.net page when you're looking at the box of WoW and the status of your subscription etc. it should be at the bottom of the page.

Also from my past experiences, Resurrect a Friend only works on people who don't have any expansions.
