Need Help with XboxLive!!

Okay, so i got my Xbox 1 year agoish and i got cod the day after, so i decided to play some live, i plug in my modem thing to it and it says to like check to see if i can play xbox live, so it loads for a while and then a big red X comes up and says blah blah xbox live could not conect blah blah, then it tells me like how to to re-conect modem, or turn it off in 30secounds and try again or soemthing..

One big thing that might be the problem, i don't have a harddrive, a friend told me that it might be the problem? Idk what to do, help me out.. :'(

 

you have to have a harddrivr to play live.

Wtf no you dont need a hard drive to play xbox live? Lol I use to play it without one. Check you have space in the 250mb hdd. Do you have a arcade?

 

You were able to play Xbox live without a hard-drive but now with the update and the NXE ( New Xbox Experience ) dashboard you will need a hard-drive to download it and put it on your system that holds alot of information that only hard-drive can store.

So sorry you won't be able to access Xbox live without a hard-drive, or at-least a memory card.

your problem might be that your network needs pin to use, ask your provider if it does
