Need help with Virus

I am getting a popup on my toolbar saying my computer is infected with the last version of PSW.x-Vir trojan.

But when i click on it to try and resolve it takes me to a completely different page to what it says which gives me yet another virus...

I am using Ad-Aware to scan and remove all objects but it is not bringing up anything like this, once in a while it will pick up an object but i've done a full system scan about 6 times now, rarely showing anything but it sometimes picks up 1 or 2 critical objects...

Anyone know how to resolve all this, i am rubbish with computers so i need a detailed answer please guys?
