Need help with teamviewer

Can someone install malware on my computer while they are on my computer?

I gave someone access to it and he has told me he has installed viruses and malware, is this true, can he do it?

He's either bluffing or went to malicious sites and intentionally downloaded viruses. I suggest you get either ESET Smart Security or Kaspersky and do a virus scan on your entire computer. Were you away when you let him have control? If not, he couldn't have done it.
