Need help with forums!

I am currently making a new forum website like Sythe made for a backup when Sythe goes down. It is still in the development stage, and I need help with getting everything started. If anyone (Sythe Admins/Mods included!) has any experience with this kind of thing and wants to help, add my MSN. Thanks.

I didn't know about Newfag... Never even heard about it, actually. And it isn't vBulletin, it is a free forum maker. Too easy, lol. I might have to look into vBulletin

 

Newfag isn't software, silly. It's a silly term originating from 4chan (Fuck you, rules 1 + 2) meant to point out that a person is new, or inexperienced at something.

Most people won't utilize your forums if sythe goes down, sorry to say. Especially, if it is a free forum.

It won't make sense if some threads are here, and parts of others are there. Although it will be accessible, it won't be the best option.

Vbulletin costs money, and I doubt you're willing to fork over 100$+ for a license for just back-up purposes.

 

I was under the impression that it was a website... Thats what he made it out to be anyway.

Why won't they use my forum since its free? Will it make a difference?

It will be more like, threads here, different threads there. I don't understand the problem in that.
