I'd recommend just being honest and telling her that you're low on cash right now and grab a DVD and have a night in and then just promise her a goodnight when you have some cash.
I'd agree with this. However I'd buy a token gift as well, to ensure she realises that you at least put some consideration into a gift. I'd HIGHLY advise not gambling away your money next time.
Mate honest is the perfect solution of the problems but not for ur case.. Girls don't like the gambling even if they know his boyfriend doing it. I'm telling u from my own experience with my wife.. Do not tell her the true because u will be sorry.. Yeah we all know that the true is always better than everything but not in the gambling cases.. That will ruin his trust on you about a lot of stuff... If u wan't don't trust me and just tell her the true and u will realize how right i'm.. I believe most of us had it P.S : By the way, don't forget the best gifts cannot be brough with cash... Use ur imagination and just do something that is not typical for you.. Believe me i made my wife more than happy with less than 10 dollars... U just need to focus on ur feelings and what both of you enjoy doing together. Even if u don't like to do something and she do, just do it for her. A flowers and chocolate will help u a lot believe me
You've been together for 4 years, so she knows you like/love her. If you can buy her a small gift and say "I'm low on cash but I promise I'll get you something you'll love". And now you've learned your lesson.. Don't gamble if you can't afford to lose your money!
Tell her you are low on money, which i'm sure she would understand. However do not tell her you lost it gambling or she may potentially lose a lot of respect for you. You've learned a valuable lesson; never gamble what you can't afford to lose.
make her something. hand drawn card. a cake. necklace. idk, not sure whats popular where you live. but shit like that always gets the bitches. srsly though. make her something, something that she'll be able to tell took you a while to make. something that shows her you care. dont tell her you gambled it away...dont.
