My infraction

So I was given an infraction for this thread

It says "No ____ Vs. ____ threads" in the general rules
However my thread was turning into a discussion, and I believe it was a good thread. A global (Matt) had already posted in the thread, and added to the discussion.

I know it was semi against the rules, but I don't feel it should have been locked. It was contributing to off topic forum.

I don't mean to inadvertently anger y'all.

 

I'd agree with a reversal, as long as the thread generated some discussion I think it's okay. If the thread was filled with "x" "no y!" answers, then yes it'd be spam.

 

It's still in the sectional rules. But I agree on reversal. I spoke with Nick about changing that rule as I found it wrong to close (and infract you for) a thread like that.
