My Idea I think that the classes/skills should be based on a popular RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: "Oblivion" The way it is set out in Oblivion is that you go through a tutorial similar to tut island. In that tut you get three choices in stages of the game. Races *Human *Elf *Orc *Reptilian *Harpie ect. These races come with thier own pros and cons for example: the humans may have higher personality but lower bow and arrow skill. They also come with one special spell that can be activated once every 30mins for example. Paralyze or summon a monster or turn invisible. Birth Sign *The Mage *The Thief *The Lover *The Serpent These all come with a set of abilities and/or skills buffs. For example: The Serpent allows you to poison an enemy or player every 10mins but lowers your resistance to fire by 12%. Classes The classes work differently to the rest. You first choose out of three things that best describes what you want your character to be. *Mage *Melee *Thief Mage Mage lets you progress in these skills quicker: Insert magic based skills here. Melee Melee lets you progress in these skills quicker: Insert Melee based skills here. Thief Thief lets you progress in these skills quicker: Insert sneaky skills here. This includes IMO ranging. Classes 2 Now that you have chosen your base class you chose your major skills. This is where you lot come in all your skill suggestions. You choose 7. These are the skills that will increase you level. Then there are your minor skills. They level slower and don't increase your level That's my idea please comment and add your own ideas. I know its not perfect. So all your ideas will help. Kyuu.
Pardon my french, everybody reading this, but i have one thing to say. That idea is fucking ownage and whoever says it isnt should go burn in hell. ~Dark
I really do. There should be more birth signs like: Mark of the Scarred (+5% Melee crit chance, +3 Strength, -7% HP Regen) Mark of the Sly (+10% Agi, -3 Strength) Mark of the Wise (+3% HP/MP Regen, +5 Intel, -10 Str) *Only available to spellcasters*
