Meh...good for your first time I'd say...5/10...Decent color..I'd have used a different color for the letter, and maybe a better font.Pretty good job on the glow though.

Dude thats nasty for your first time. Althought I suggest making border thicker, hard to see. And you probably shouldnt give it a drop shadow, it contradicts with the 3D-ness.

How do u make a metal rings on your orbs like the ones in your sig?

 

Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen. IMO ugly color, but hey. my orb blows ass, so i cant criticize THAT heavily

 

yea my friend told me to sharpen it but i saved it and exited yesterday so i cant really sharpen it nemore.

8/10 not bad i would get rid of the drop shadow, and if the white circle in the middle if you made it like an arch it would be better (look around you'll understand what i mean)
