Muted for nothing?

Well I was playing the dice game with some people on world 1 and all of a sudden i see "You have been muted for 2 days" yada yada yada... I check my offences and have none... Go back 30minutes later and i can talk? wtf?

Nothing to worry about, if it's not on your offenses then it's not a problem?

 

P mod most likely and then the offense was overturned by a J Mod.

 

^This. A Player mod can mute anyone on the spot if they want. Dice/flower game isn't actually against Jagex rules though so they would have over turned it

 

That's a lie, I'll take a picture right now of my offense history where I got a 48 hour mute for the dice game.

 

Oh well, maybe a glitch but hey, its just RS.

you could have been muted from the day before. and just got on and only had 30 minutes left from my guesses

 

Must of been a mistake, unless it was an email fake one, or could you not actually speak?

 

Sounds like just a mistake. Or maybe they're taking a stand against the dice/flower game(s)?

 

i am going with something said above a mod pry muted you the day befor and you got on and only had a few min left or it was a glitch

 

make sure it isn't a fish email trying to hack ur account..

 

I had the exact same problem playing the flower game. Personally I feel it was a P mod who decided it was against the rules when it really isn't.

Turned out my "two day temp" lasted around four days with my appeal pending? Was weird.

And 10 Minutes later, They got squashed by Jagex and sad they we're acidently put on my account

I think Jagex are having a few problems :L

Wasn't mistake, you were muted by player mod, and unmuted by jagex mod later on.

 

Yeah, it was most likely an accident. Were you spamming in joy? -.-
