Is there a way to place the music from my iPod onto my iTunes? Because my iTunes has been reset and I'd like to put the music from my iPod back onto iTunes. Please let me know, because I just can't figure it out. Thanks, Rawr.
It is actually much easier than you would think. You see the music database inside the ipods harddrive is just a hidden directory. It is very easy to unhide, view and manipulate this disk. 1st make sure your Ipod is plugged in the USB properly etc. Than check to make sure disk use is enabled on your ipod. Go to my computer (assuming you are on windows, the great monopoly). Double click your ipod's disk. On windows click view, Ipod_Control should appear. There should be a folder with some opacity on it named: Music double click it. There should be folders called f00, f01, f02 etc, maybe its diffrent depending on the ipod. Now copy and paste outta the folders. The files will have random names but the music should have descriptions next to it with artist title etc. Copy this music into a folder of your choice. Drag it all into itunes. Note copying will take anywhere from 5-60 minutes depending on your ipods size, and disk speeds (computer+Ipod). There All done, Now go mindlessly copy music, freaking drone PS: Dont bother going on MSN with that guy its all right here
Should be able to plug the ipod in then it'll bring up the list of songs on the ipod. Copy and paste them into the library and you'll have duplicated them there. Im pretty sure that would work.
