Multi-Logging

Did Jagex fix the "read-only random.dat" multi-logging method? It's been working for a week or so since I found out about it, but the other day it stopped working.

I'm getting the message that I'm logged into too many accounts when I load my second client.

Anyone else having this problem?

 

What I use to do to log in two clients is, load them both up and when they are both ready to log in hit them together so they log in together. I use to do this around 6 months ago when I use to play a little, not sure if it works now so sorry if it does not.

 

I just tested it, it's working for me with the read only fix

 

i had the same problem once or twice but didnt do anything to fix it but its still working for me

 

You can just open up two runescape browsers and put them side by side, then click enter on both really fast. Thats what i've always done and never had a problem.

Please actually read OP's thread before replying.

He has a specific issue/question, and does not simply want to be told how else he can multilog.

 

I'm giving a solution to a problem he is having. In case his method has been patched now he has a new method to use.

 

This right here, works like a charm

 

Obviously I know about that method, but with random.dat set to read only you're able to log into the same world at any point (on two clients). It's not working for me now, which is odd.
