MSN Problem

I don't get any MSN invites, but people do add me. It's really weird, but when I add them, they get my invites (If they added me before, and I then add them, they get online as soon as I click "Add" ). Anyone get a fix for this problem?

 

Use your Hotmail a few times, I never used to get them and started accepting through Hotmail and it fixed itself after a couple days.

 

Or try downloading an old version of msn, this problem is common on the new windows live, a 2009 version should do it http://www.oldapps.com/msn_messenger.php

You can also use www.ebuddy.com i heard it fixes this problem.

Check the invitations in the website as Arashi said.

It also happens to me, I don't really know how Microsoft can't create a good MSN version EVER :S

 

My one wasn't showing me the invitations as well. You can go on to hotmail or just uninstall it and download an older version.

I think MSN 7 works best overall.

 

There should be a invitations tab at the bottom of your messenger, if not go to your e-mail they're will normally be emails from windows live in your junk folder saying so and so wants too add you etc.

 

Already tried checking them through the website, but it doesn't work. Re-installing or installing an old version doesn't work either.

Oh and I don't even have that "Invitations" thingy, when I click at messenger. >_>

 

I'd say just download an older version and see if that works.

Also you could try logging in through www.hotmail.com and going to contacts.

How old is your email sengira? have you tried creating a new one?

 

When I finally checked my invitations on the hotmail website, I had like 50. lol I was wondering why people weren't adding me.

 

I hate MSN >.> Just accepted 350 invites; this is actually very useful to know.

(Although, I also tried to delete all my contacts through the Live page to avoid the loading lag. Seemed like a nice idea - until it didn't actually delete anyone from my list, and simply blocked them all instead. Did I mention I hate MSN?)

I didn't either, but that doesn't mean you don't have requests. I had to go under contacts first, and there was a heading over the list that linked to invitations.

Make sure you have this version http://ideas.live.com and when installing it, select the options that makes your browser compatible with msn (Addon or something like that not sure).

And I'm not going to download any new MSN versions. That's what fucked it up last time =/. I don't know how to check if my browser is compatible.

similar problem with myne, i add people but nothing comes up as well as people adding me but nothing tells me that they have, they pm me that they have added me :S

I think the problem has something to do with hushmail. All of my hushmails got this problems, but my old @hotmail.com works perfectly fine.
