I'm running my computer on Windows ME. ANd i get this error evrytime i try to run MS-DOS or somthing that uses it run run: If anyone knows what it is. Could you please explain how to fix it? Thanks
Your problem is that you're running Windows ME. But if you really want it fixed. This site said... 1.Extract the Winoa386.new file from your original Windows 95 disks or CD-ROM to the Windows\System folder. The Winoa386.new file is located in the following locations: •The Win95_03.cab cabinet file on the Windows 95 and Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 (OSR2) CD-ROM. •The Win95_03.cab cabinet file on disk 3 of the original Windows 95 DMF floppy disks. •The Win95_04.cab cabinet file on disk 4 of the original Windows 95 non-DMF floppy disks. •The Win98_45.cab cabinet file on the Windows 98 CD-ROM. You can do what atomic said or if you cant get your hands on a Windows CD you can try this. Control Panel Add remove programs add and remove windwos componets Uncheck assecories and Utilities Click next ext... Do the same thing again but this time install it by checking it. Atomics right ME is horrible the worst microsoft ever made.
