My mouse continuously clicks at random times. When I go to right click, it click the right click, clicks less then a second after that, then again, then after 5 seconds, it clicks, then 10 seconds it clicks normally, then 15 it clicks normally, and intervals of 5. My mouse works fine when booting with XP, this only happens when I boot with Vista on my computer. I'm planning on deleting this partition and adding a new 500GB hard drive, and connecting XP to the new 500GB partition. That doesn't mean anything, I just want to know what to do until I get my new hard drive.

Perhaps you have malware on your computer. Run a virus/spyware scan. Another option is that your the mouse driver is corrupted and you should try to set the mouse driver back to a previous state or re-install the drivers or update them. Last thing it could be is if you ever used an auto-clicker it might be running in the background or something.

believe it or not but a mouse (computer hardware) has a driver (just most of the time they are already built into the computer)
