I remember there being various rumors and I also remember reading a few different things, but does anybody know exactly why Jagex offered a job to Chris? He was doing great on the YouTube side of things back then, but he wasn't really on top I feel. What did he have to bring to the table that so many of the others didn't?

I miss his top 10 videos. He's turned in to what I consider to be a vain douchebag now.

 

Umm, he was just really good friends with the Jagex staff. And he only had around 200k subs which is not enough to support him and his wife Kelly. And what he brought to Jagex was really just his experience and his side of things, he knew what the community wanted and he had the mindset of a player and not a staff member so he was to of use to them I guess.

 

He was a great guy, with a great personality. He also seemed to have a decent, personal life, which would be attractive to a company that is need for a person in charge of promotional-market needs.
