Missing from gambling update...

Correct me if i'm wrong,

I was under the impression they were going to add some other form of high risk gameplay/gambling into the game when they removed player hosted gambling. Something to keep people safe from scamming, but so they could still get that rush and a chance to make big money fast.

Now unless I overlooked something, it wasn't added?

 

They're probably still contemplating whether or not they want to add something like that...I could see implementation of that not being incorporated for months..if ever.

 

Mate,the people on the official rs forums voted to gambling get FULLY removed,no option for others to do it safe or legal, not sure if you did miss that 1 .
However,they won't bring another way to gamble/gamble safe out as the community does not want that.

 

I think the only way to gamble now is back to the duel arena, that place should spark with life again.

 

Hopefully seeing i'm not too long off maxed combat!

 

It was a good move by jagex, it'll stop a lot of gambling scams on throwaway level 3's.

 

I am very glad that they removed those gambling methods, i was kinda sick of the spam lol.

 

The money circulating in runescape should be from player to player for the most part, so what you're left with is duel arena. Gambling was never supposed to be part of runescape and it ruined the game for a lot of people, it's hard to resist the allure of get rich fast, but that goes both ways.
