Microsoft DreamSpark Codes?

Are they worth anything? I got two of these from a programming competition and I'm wondering if they're worth anything since I already own Visual Studio and don't need the codes. Apparently, the code gives you access to a bunch of free programming tools, so I hope they're worth at least something. Lol. I think these codes allow you access to the program downloads without verifying that you are a student, making them very useful to certain people. Correct me if I am wrong, however.

DreamSpark is free for all students. It's got useful stuff like free full versions of Visual Studio and Expression Studio as well as the latest version of Windows Server.
