Maxing Combat!

Is it even worth maxing my combat at the moment, I could do it in about 3months. but when the EoC comes out will it even be worth it? Just got into the game again and decided i want max, but need some opinions please!

 

Have you played the beta? I would suggest trying that because its hard to tell some one what they are going to like.

I would go for it, and besides all the negative comments yet to come I would say this is what runescape needs and I think it will be enjoyable one we get used to it.

 

I'd say go for it. A lot of people say that it will likely be harder to train combat post EOC update as you'll need to actively play the whole time doing moves etc + the experience rates may change as you are outputting more damage.

Max combat pre EoC for sure

 

I would take the step to do it, you never know how training will be in the combat beta, at least u have bots now

 

Being maxed really has no direct factors on the EoC if you're not a pure nor a pker, if you're not i just say max, it won't hurt nothing.

 

It depends what makes playing "worth it" for you. If you are saying that you may not play because you don't think you'll like EoC, then watch vids or play the beta, and if you don't like it you can quit when it comes. But, RS to most is about fun, right? If maxing is fun to you... do it.

Edit: Also, I don't think training in EoC will be that much slower (maybe it can be even faster) than the present if you are botting. Bots will not die after EoC, and I'm sure there will be a rush from scripters to make fitting scripts when it arrives. Of course, afking legit the rates would be bad.

Get maxed otherwise u at a huge disadvantage during EoC

 

What are your current stats?

By 'maxing combat' do you mean 99's in all combat skills? If so I would say yes, it is fairly easy to train with def anyway.

 

i'd say it would be worth it to go ahead and max, then try out the EOC if it turns out it's your kryptonite for your rs carrer you could just always sell the account

 

Currently going for maxed melee. 99 att and 99 str with like 83 def, 90 hp... Think I like it. Definitely something that's pretty cool and I'm looking forward to maxing. It couldn't do anything bad to you unless you've got a super dope pure...

 

Don't play its a waist of time.
