    The loudness, L decibels, of the music at a disco varies inversely as the square of the distance, d metres, from the speakers.

    Sam and Kate were dancing 1.5 metres from the speakers. If the move to a position 3 metres from the speakers what will be the effect on the loudness?


    HELP !!!

    I think the answer should be something like 0.691111...

    I am only 13 in 8th grade also on top math class (algebra 1) I dont know exactly how much the decibels decrease but they go down below 30. I
