6. Preform the indicated operation and simplify:

i'm not understanding what the question is in most of the problems you have there. if you rewrite it in an easier to understand format (like with parentheses and '/' for fractions) i would help you out.

Not that hard to understand. Its 1/8.

Edit. It edited the spacing. Just move the number farthest down. They are now seperated by a (.

Not sure about most questions because of the weird spacing. Use paint and draw it out, looks better.

Yea, #1 is 1/8

3. (X1 + X2) / 2 , (Y1 + Y2) / 2

This is very easy, just the averages of the 2 X and Y coords.

7. x = 21

If you wanna know how to do it, Ill show you.

Aww crap, I redid it and got 13. 13 seems to be right, musta have been late at night when I solved it last time. Yep, misread a 2 as a 3.



First you isolate the variable by finidng the right denominators and subtracting it. Then you cross multiple and the rest is self explanatory.

 

No the problem is:

 

Yea that should be right, unless you're confusing my 2 and the 'z'. The 2 is on top and z+3 on bottom.

1/4 + 2/16 = 3/8

1/4 + Z/5 = 3/8

10/40 + 8Z/40 = 15/40

8Z = 15

Z = 1.875
