Major Staff Changes

Grats to all promotions, best of luck to all leaving.

 

I'd like to thank Pen and Ryan for expressing their appreciation for those who put countless hours into this site and then demoted them without taking it up with them first.

Good job guys, I hope you enjoy your new pixel ranks.

Congrats to everyone else who was promoted.

Sad to see the demotions, but congratulations on those who have been promoted!

 

If I am not mistaken, Steph being demoted was not the choice of Pen or Ryan.

Although, I must agree, it was quite rude (for the lack of a better term) that Steph had to lose her position, especially without her even knowing about the decision being made for her.

 

Don't worry, I will still be heading up the Graphics section, but as far as things are concerned, I know TDD is quite capable of handling things himself.

I am slightly upset about this decision, for the demotion of X9. I know you were dedicated about staying with the staff as long as you could, to see this site out until the end. We had this conversation with a few select people on MSN, after PKing was taken off of Runescape. We all expected the site would go down, but it prevailed in the long run, and now it's sad to see you go. However, things will run their course, and maybe it is for the best ultimately. I hope you visit back periodically, to talk to those of us who still want to chat with you. bet of luck in whatever you plan to do in the future.


As far as my promotion goes, I did know this was coming, but I did expect more promotions along with mine. I also knew about demotions, but not the intimate details. I did some guesswork, I was told nothing. When I first joined the site, it was called RuneCMS. I've been here since 2005, and not 5 posts in, I was given a moderator status. I worked at it for two weeks, and I worked hard at it. I was then given Global Moderator status. I have the experience to do this, and I know how to make good decisions. Things will be fine.

 

Wow, those are some drastic demotions. >_> Poor x9 and Steph.

Congrats for everyone who got promoted, though.

The thing that about this that pain me the most is that I'm not allowed in the staff lounge
THB this will reduce my activity even more. But well I'm still around and will stay until the end.
