Long time ban in 2013 or whatever, skype is still the same, [censored].

I was never ever able to find the person who got scammed after my account was hacked so I kind of lost interest. If any mods/admins want to get in contact please do.

Just ban this account, I wasn't planning on ban evading, forgot you could post without an account.

The 8.50 was almost certainly paid for, the 17 dollar one came up later but due to money issues at the time I couldn't drop it at all. I tried to find the guy with my last round around here but it was impossible.

 

You'll still need to refund the $17, or at least wait 30 days attempting to. If you have already posted a thread with evidence of doing so, can you link that? I tried to find one but could not.

 

I don't think I had been informed of the 30 day thing prior, but I had talked to jackgoff a year or so ago on skype about searching for him. I did do some (rather fruitless) searching for him but I can't gurantee it was for 30 days of hard searching.

 

Hopefully @Jack Goff remembers and can help

 

Talked with @mage3158 and I remember we discussed it but to what degree neither of us remembers and neither of us have logs of the chat having since changed computers in the time (was either 2014 or 2015 at the time of the chat). Mage believes the repayment was made via gold in which case there'd be no paper trail to be followed back so short of the user who was scammed being reimbursed confirming it, unfortunately there really isn't proof to show that it was paid.

 

So then what can be done?

 

Try contacting @sypherz for him to confirm receiving it and if he's sent it to noah yet. He's reasonably active still and in the meantime regarding that $17 scam - that user is banned for scamming. Instead try to reach out to their victim http://www.powerbot.org/community/topic/889611-paypalcc-fraudchargeback/.

 

I've messaged the person on powerbot but it seems like powerbot is having some serious issues.

Guess the 30 day countdown begins now.

 

Alright; check back on Powerbot by the way (it looks like they recently changed forum software, similar to us)

I emailed the person yesterday. I hope I don't have to wait another month if he doesn't respond.
