Luring Is Not Gone!

I have seen soooo many threads saying "GF luring" "R.I.P Luring"

It hasn't gone!

In Jagex's update it said about the new limbo thingy about when you die.


"If you die in any unsafe, non-PVP area, you will be prompted to choose which items you retain"

A PVP area is wildy! + cw dangerous portal.

So all you amazing people out there who are about to stab yourselves. Don't.

Cos you need to go luring :nuts:

EDIT: I have also read this. "Please note that the death mechanic used in the Wilderness and other dangerous PvP activities will not be changing from how it currently is, other than that your most valuable items will be decided by their Grand Exchange guide price, not their alch value."

EDIT: A LOT of lures will be lost but ones in cw and chin lures wont be Just saying

 

they are not talking about that part, they are talking about rather then the alch value being used in the wild, the g.e value will be used, so its impossible to lure rares now.

 

Pretty sure no one is talking about the non-PVP thing. It's the alch thing people are worried about.

I'm not much of a lurer but myf riend is and he cuts me in 100m for each rare he gets so i hope this doesnt happen

 

What if the rare is only worth 80m? :3

We are talking about the fact that now a rare (e.g Santa) will protect over any shitty stuff they have in their inventory etc.
Although some people think that has ruined luring, I think it's good.
It means that no longer will there be idiots attempting to lure, ruining it for the real lurers, meaning we can get bait easier.
All of the lures that involve dropping Dbaxes etc are just stupid anyway, that's for the in-experienced lurers

Now it's impossible for a Dragon Battleaxe to be "worth" more than partyhats, masks, santas. Etc.

Kinda another blow to old runescape, title of this should be Jagex caters to idiots and 10 year olds. Lures are extremely obvious in most cases I don't see why this is a necessary update.

Hello D-Claw rushing.

 

Luring is not dead, anyone who thinks this has killed luring has either A. Never lured anyone or been luring, or B. still uses the D b axe lure or ancient stat lure. Luring is NOT dead in the least.

 

This is what people are worried about, the death of rare luring.
