I just got back from Conformation class. On the way home, I finally decided to tell my mom about my views on Religion, since I decided that honestly would be the best path.

She called my relatives the moment we got home. My mother said the word "satan" alot of times, and now she is refusing to talk to me.

This is an example of why honesty should be avoided at all costs.

Another example: My dad recently found some shit in my car that leads to smoking and instead of bs'ing and saying it's my friends, I was honest. He then gets up and takes me to the hospital to get drug tested. Then, he takes my car, no more monthly allowance (since it mostly went to that) and now, he is very upset and won't talk to me. Neither will my mom.
