    Losing weight?

what is an easy way to lose weight?
I do not want to go on a "harsh diet"
just lose weight with a diet, that isn't extreme.
like don't tell me don't eat anything lol.

    Losing weight?

ever consider going to a gym? or incorporate some exercise routines at home or outside (without paying gym fees) such as High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)?

Define "harsh" diet, how much Calories is your maintenance diet (usual food intake)? and then we can go from there.

You don't have to work out at all.

Here's what you need to keep in mind: your body burns calories all the time, all day, every day, every minute. If you eat less calories than your body is burning then you are at a deficit, which means you will lose weight. Your body has food to live off of, it's called fat. A harsh low calorie diet is exactly what people need, but don't want to hear. Try a 1000 or less calorie diet a day. Results will be quicker than you expected.

Nobody can tell 'you' how to lose weight. For me, it was more of a revelation. I woke up one day and decided not to eat all day long and found out that even though there were cravings, it wasn't that hard. I continued day after day eating nothing more than a multivitamin, some sugarless flavored water packets, and some (about 2 six packs) Austin peanut butter crackers for at least "some" nutrition. This was my diet for a day. It worked well. I never felt bad, just hungry, but that's how you know it's working. Step on the scale after 1 day of not eating (drink plenty, but no sugar!), you'll be shocked.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's math. If you eat less than you burn, you lose weight. You -CANNOT- lose weight by eating more than you burn, this is -FACT-.

This. Also, like he said, you don't HAVE to work out, however if you can spare some free time, instead of maybe going on the internet for fun use, maybe try working out. It doesn't have to be intense at all, even a 15min light jog would help.

Starving yourself only eating 1k calories each day is not healthy. That's called malnutrition and while you'll see some results, will be hard on you mentally and physically and isn't worth it. While this is a diet many chicks like to use it's far from healthy. Advising no sugar isn't a good idea either since the body needs sugar.

Will post something detailed in a sec

1000 calories is far from malnutrition. Doctors recommend a 1200 calorie diet to people who need to lose weight. Malnutrition would be closer to the 200-300 calorie a day diet. When I had my first weight loss run I was 280 and in 5 months I hit 210 at 6'2'' eating less than 1000 calories a day, and that's when I started working out because I hit a wall and it was like I couldn't lose any more... I felt great every day, physically and mentally. Like I said, get yourself some multivitamins, a glass of orange juice in the morning, and have a some limits during your day and you'll just shread pounds every day.

The thing is with these low calorie diets is that once you hit the goal you want, then you can't go back to how you used to eat. You'll gain quite a bit back in a short amount of time. You'll have to ease back into it and eventually keep a healthy, steady diet.

Avoid carbohydrates in large amounts, do star jumps press ups in your room, only eat when you become hungry from doing exercise.

You have to understand fitness is not a one size fits all. That's why they say run a deficit of X amount instead of just consume X amount of calories. I would be severely unhappy and malnourished on 1000 calories only when my maintenance is somewhere around triple that.

    OP
The #1 thing for cutting however is being in the calorie deficit. Do you know your maintenance calories? You can get a decent estimate in my opinion from determining your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) here http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ and then applying the Harris Benedict Equation to it found here http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-ca...dict-equation/. Do note however this isn't going to be 100% but it's been the most accurate for me. For example myfitnesspal suggested I take in 2300 calories I think it was to maintain my weight, I've determined my maintenance to be somewhere between 2800-3200 through trial and error. Using this equation mine came out just shy of 3200. Now you have a decent idea of your maintenance calories you need to eat below that. Generally speaking a deficit of 500-750 seems to be the safe amount. Cutting too fast can lead to loose skin, etc.

It really just depends on how bad you want to lose weight. Like you said, to each their own. I'm only sharing my experience with losing weight which worked great.
