Looting Question

I heard that PKing drops will not take two minutes for others to see rather it is now immediate. Is this true?

 

im not sure but i do think its instantly now.

No, that sounds plan idiotic, and I doubt Jagex would have made it like that. You must have read something wrong.
*Edit* I believe if someone dies in PvM in the wilderness, their drops will be immediate, just like anywhere else, but in PVP I don't think it would be.

No, I think I've read this on the FAQ, and a couple of people were discussing on some threads here. I'm not sure so I need someone to verify this.

And I think I read somewhere there is still going to be a gravestone that appears and gives the person a certain amount of time to get back and get their items before everyone else can see it.

 

When someone dies the pker will get the drop then a lil after it appears.

 

I see lots of people are confused over this, so I will explain.

If you are fighting another player in the wild, and you kill the guy you are fighting, you will have either 1 minute or 2 minutes (Don't remember) to pick up the loot. Then it becomes visible for everyone.

IF the other guy drops something, say a whip, just before he dies (to try and save it), it appears immediately for everyone.

If a monster kills someone, a gravestone appears. If the player does not retrieve his stuff after a set amount of time, the gravestone goes away and the stuff appears for everyone. This is for outside wild only.

 

They said roughly a minute if you kill someone, but if your say tbed and weren't able to tank it all the way to 20 or 1 or whatever it may be, and try to drop your stuff so you can come pick it up before they do, then it shows up immediately.

Of course not dude. It will work just like it did back in 06. You kill someone you can see everything minutes later everyone sees the leftovers.

 

In the FAQ there was something like
- Will it take 2 minutes?
- No.

So you must have seen it there.

 

Why the hell would they be stupid enough to let everyone see your loot the second you get it? They wouldn't.
