So apparently candy crush stores a lot of important data client side. This means you can use a memory editor to do whatever you want (change your score, get infinite lives, infinite boosters, etc.) Spoiler: Example
Sorry if my terminology is incorrect. I used to do a little bit of flash game cheating back like 8-9 years ago when I was a little kid. Only learned the basics and not much terminology. Client side as in the data is stored on the client (your computer) rather than the server (candy crush servers). It seems the game is programmed in a way so that it checks the client for values of important things like your score and then sends that value to the server. Hence, you can use a memory editor to change your score and have it get sent to the server. Then it gets stored on the server. For example, in the picture above you can see I have 999,999,999 points for level one and have the top score. This shows up for EVERYBODY that has me added as a friend because high scores are stored server side. So yeah, it's cheating. I was just curious to see if it would work. I'm actually quite shocked to see that Candy Crush is vulnerable to this sort of simple cheat. I don't plan on using it beyond my testing on level one since I actually really enjoy playing the game normally.
