By what i've read, you're on the right track and you are a very good hard working man, a man of honor.

Whenever you need motivation just think about your life, your future what you want, you will be the best, better then anyone else, whenever there is a setback you will bounce back.

Keep up your hard work in your studies, keep faithful to your girlfriend, your life will be fine.

Look at the future with CONFIDENCE! because you are GREAT

Honestly, yes, colleges will look at all 4 years of high school, but from my experience, I feel that seeing a huge turnaround in your work ethic will look just as good as straight A's across the board because instead of potentially not trying and still getting good grades, they instead can see without any doubt that you're absolutely willing to put in the work necessary to succeed, and that's what colleges want to see more than anything.

Don't stress yourself out, you're definitely on the right path.

As for career, you usually don't need to pick a major until the spring semester of your sophomore year in college, so you'll have plenty of time to take a variety of classes before you need to decide, and even then, a college major doesn't determine your career. You can always switch it if you don't like it. Just think about it this way. Do what you love, and don't worry about the money. You'll find a way to make money doing what you love, but if you only focus on the money, you'll be miserable. As for the girlfriend, she's obviously stuck around with you for a while now, and if she loves you, then any sort of life with you is a good one, so don't worry about meeting her expectations. Think about what you want, and if she's right for you, she'll stick around regardless.

What do you enjoy the most? Having a job doing something that you really enjoy will make you successful. I enjoy working outdoors, but I also love computers. I became an electrical apprentice because I'd like to move into mining and/or oil.

If you set your heart on studying something that you enjoy, you will live a very happy life with your girl. :)

Honestly, If you want a job, you should only work like once or twice a week at most because you should be focusing on school. School and work can and will get in the way of studying, testing, and fun. A good starting job could be like at a supermarket or something basic where you can control your schedule.
