    Okay i just read a thread on leveling up, and i would like to propose an idea.

    Whan you play call of duty, you can never completely overpower your opponent, unless your just hella gangster fly, and have amazing skills. That game is based on accuracy, aim and strategy.

    WHAT IF:
    this game was based on the same things. No dice rolling luck, but actual skill. An mmo that resembles oblivion in gameplay, an mmo where one must ACTUALLY be good at the game, rather than bash the controls for hours! anyone can play the game for 500 hours and max out their stats, but what if the game wasnt about the amount of time you spent, BUT your skill levels?

    oooh yea, and full loot FTW!!!!
    full loot every death, everytime. and also alignment, kind of like fable. if your a total douche, then you get evil points, and maybe some merchants wont sell you stuff, and women and children will run away from you?

    I like the evil points, very original ( apart from Fable :p ) but the skill? no people with bad internet graphics card will be at a disadvantage and it won't attract a large mass of players

    It should be based on both, 1st person style will be based on accuracy, 3rd person will be based on stats.

    I agree with this, but it counteracts the base idea people play an RPG for. I can see a counter system could be implemented as in "Legend of Dragoon" for Playstation 1. Otherwise, it doesn't work out in the long run. There are other ways to have an MMO, as well, rather than controlling one character.
