Legacy

Trying to see what legacy really is, is it just a new screen set up pre eoc or what ?

 

Based on what I saw, it's a mask parallel to eoc. It's 100% client sided which is worrying. This means switching between the two is as easy as switching worlds. It's not even in beta yet so I wouldn't worry too much.

 

Few weeks for beta, the live stream today did interest me slightly today because of how smooth everything seemed and how basically back to normal most things were... Idk if they spend the right amount of time on this and release it beta it correctly it could surely bring in some good traffic this summer

I will only play 07 because I don't like how legacy looks and works, old animations and armours would be great, but it will not come so yeah rs2007ftw

Just saw a video and I still wanna play 07 legacy seems boring too

 

What will happen to 07 when legacy comes out ?

 

07 will have more players, I will quit RS3 and play 07 24/7

I don't think that Legacy is going to be that great. PVP isn't going to come back full swing because of Legacy and unless implemented right, it's going to fail completely pvp wise.

It's going to be great playing through the game without having to deal with that eoc crap, but I'm not sure about PVP. I think that one's gonna stay in the coffin.

 

While I don't have incredibly high hopes, as it's Jagex after all, I do think PVP might have a slight chance at a rebirth. I really hope so at least man.

 

We'll find out right? Can't make assumptions when it's not even out yet.

 

EOC with the animations/weapon looks that they currently have (unless they will update that too).

 

Unless it's legacy only pvp, there's a chance. But when there's actual people to play with now instead of just bots, pvp might just turn into the small past time it used to be.

It's going to be interesting to see how it pans out really. This summer is certainly going to be interesting.

 

Switching between the two will be an option in the tools tab. My mistake.
