Learning how to PK

Hey,

I've been pking on and off for many years now, and never really felt like I've improved in any way. I've tried a lot of different builds but I feel like I always get outskilled by other people in my level bracket. I think the most success I've found in pking was with an obby mauler, even then my KD was probably in the 0.X level.

Without further a do, my question is:

What would be the easiest way to get started in pking, a build, a level bracket, a way of pking, literally any tips are appreciated. I currently own a maxed 60 attack zerker, though people have been saying that 75 attack would be more beneficial for someone who is starting to learn pking (correct me if I'm wrong!). I also own few lower level pures, but I can go about creating any build.

If anyone is willing to actually give me coaching in pking, I wouldn't mind that either. I've also been trying to watch a lot of zerker pk commentaries and implement some of the mechanics and all into my own pking, and that really helped me in understanding 1 ticking etc.

Side note: I know that practice makes perfect, but I feel that after losing about 50 zerker sets in the past two days I should've atleast in some way learned from my mistakes, but I still keep dying consistantly.

Its something I’ve been trying to do, I feel like I’ve been changing my pking builds way too frequently though so will be trying to focus on learning one build at a time.

Oh you should see me trying to one tick an ags spec, talk about comedy.

 

Practise pking on a very low lvl pure as u find many Noobs in this bracket. Once u get the rythm u should begin pking on any high lvl pure. Trust me this really helps

 

What exactly are you struggling with? Eating? One ticking? Timing?

Pretty much all of it, not necessarily at the same time, but I think I'm just generally bad at pking haha

 

Learn on Private servers for free so its better no lost or anything

 

Maybe work on one thing specifically a time, like eating>venge timing>one ticks>takeoffs etc etc (assuming u doin venge pking)

 

Personally, I would stay 60 attack and recommend you stick to dscim to dds. Ranging is difficult to learn as a new pker. Try not to ever get smited for the dds and try to keep an eye on who has pid. Hit splats indicate who has pid, if they appear instantly on the hit animiation that means.
