Leaking Auths - Not Allowed

There have been people who have leaked Rsbots.net Supporting Members Auths on the site. In my opinion, and undoubtedly others, this is immoral and should be against the rules. Thoughts?

 

Don't give out your auths and they won't be leaked?

Completely agree. Its not classy, it breaks another cheating websites ToS, just shouldnt be done IMO.

In my eyes it's stealing. You have to be a supporting member to get access to those auths and that costs money so by getting those auths by any other means should be against the rules.

 

Very well said. Cheating is one think, stealing anothers property is another. This is sort of like buying a guide, then leaking it for free.

If you don't know what the hell you are talking about then don't post... Supporting member auths are all the same. Supporting members get beta tests of bots, and the auths are the same for everybody.

On topic, I agree that leaking them should be against the rules, why wouldn't you just shell out the small amount of cash to buy it?

its not stealing, they're just being an idiot. It ruins the bot for others and should be completely disallowed. I'm a supporting member on rsbots and I'd never leak anything, some people just don't give a shit.

 

Report them as spam and they should be hidden.

 

I did, and Nick said it was allowed.

 

In my opinion they should be removed, it is essentially the same thing as giving out paid serial keys.

 

Also another good way to look at it. Either way there are plenty of arguments as to why they should not be allowed.

Yes, it is pretty clearly stated that leaking the supporter auths will get your account banned on the site.

 

This has never been allowed...

Well I'm saying it now: leaking auths is not allowed. It never has been and never will be.

 

What would be the punishment? I think just an infraction is going too easy.
