Lag While Playing?

This never happened to me before...while I'm playing Runescape and listening to music from Limewire I start lagging in the game whats the problem?

 

It's an extremely large, online MMORPG. You're GOING to get a bit of lag. The limewire has very little to do with it. The game is old and ancient, yet large and overpopulated. The two don't mix, and you'll see results. Geez ..

Well this the first time I experienced..it I used to go pking with limewire music on now I cant..

 

well limewire is probably ur problem... Ur computer cant process that much info probably. Try defraging ur comp maybe

 

Limewire laggs it up. Use VLC or Windows media

 

Try using a different program to listen to your songs such as itunes, windows media player or winamp.

 

When I used to play RuneScape I would listen to iTunes and I had no lag, but I quit RuneScape. Limewire might be your problem.

 

If you had to choose a program, I suggest you use winamp. They have high quality sound, better arrangement and layout then some other programs, you can make playlists easier, and its ipod compatible.

Limewire is a resource hog and so is iTunes, go WMP!

 

Yeah, Limewire Lags because it's a file sharing program...Stick with itunes if your pc is crap :S
